As a Gladiator, you will be looked to tank whenever you are playing in groups. The threat system in FFXIV is a little iffy, and many times it does not make sense when you lose threat. As a result, many guilds often have 2-3 tanks on their encounters
all building threat to prevent any monsters from getting lose. Due to this, the demand for Gladiators is pretty high.
Playing the class overall is simple: use your taunts and abilities to generate threat, and use your damage-reduction abilities or heals when you are low on HP. Be sure to grab all the spells mentioned in the above section if you are serious about

In my opinion, the fastest way to level any profession in FFXIV is to craft items until you reach level 20 and then switch to repeatable leves. Repeatable leves allow you to turn the required items in up to three times, getting the full quest reward
with each turn-in. Repeatable leves are marked with the following leve card:
Leves before level 20 generally are not worth it. While you can turn in regular leve items at 15 and perhaps save a tiny bit of time versus crafting, unless you are leve capped, this is not worth it. You will need the Iron Ingots anyway to make
level 20 leve turn-in items. If you are limited on leves, you might want to grind all the way to level 25 or even 30 to help conserve leve allowances.
Note that a recent patch actually has buffed the experience points of regular leves, making them approximately double the experience points of a repeatable leve. Since repeatable leves can be turned in three times, repeatable leves still provide the
most experience points per leve allowance.
However, given that normal leves typically only require 1 item whereas repeatable leves require 9 or more items, normal leves are much less expensive. As a result, I will also be including the most economical leve per level range for those looking
to level on the cheap.

Generally speaking, I prefer to not have my habits and behavior challenged via ad hominem attacks and false comparisons. But I have to admit that this one particular charge piqued my curiosity. Why is it that the majority of my characters are
female? Am I, as a person who looks down on hypersexualized designs in games, committing an act of hypocrisy every time I create a female character?
